For those looking to expand their knowledge of Buddhism and its impact around the world.
Description
Buddhism is both a philosophy and way of life. I can show you how to learn the ways of Buddhism through study and how that study leads to sound practice.
In this course we will:
- Discuss comparative Buddhist studies.
- Learn the practice: i.e. how to meditate, chant, and discuss the use/relevance of the Buddha's teachings.
- Find ways to communicate Buddhism in the context of your needs: i.e. relgion courses, philosophy courses, and/or electives in high school, college, or university.
