Introduction to Reading Music: Notes & Ledger Lines for Keyboard
レッスンの詳細
Welcome to the beautiful world of Western classical music! Whether you want to play Bach, Mozart, or Beethoven, reading sheet music fluently is your ultimate superpower.
In this focused, beginner-friendly lesson, we will break down the absolute fundamentals of music notation so you can confidently find your way around the keyboard.
What we will cover:
-
The Musical Alphabet: Understanding how the staff lines relate to your keyboard.
-
Decoding Notes: How to quickly identify line notes and space notes.
-
Stepping Outside the Staff: What ledger lines are, why they look scary (but aren't!), and how to read them easily.
-
Hands-on Practice: We will look at real classical snippets and locate those exact notes on your keyboard.
Who is this for?
-
Absolute beginners who have never read music before.
-
Self-taught keyboard players who want to transition from playing by ear to reading classical sheets.
-
Anyone who struggles or freezes up when notes go too high or too low off the main staff.
No pressure, no stress—just a supportive, step-by-step approach to kickstart your classical journey. Let's make reading music second nature!
