Let's talk about Ella Christie, a Scottish explorer who made a beautiful Japanese garden in Scotland. A2+ ( Pre-intermediate and above)
Description
In this special lesson for International Women's Day, learn all about Ella Christie, a Scottish traveller, explorer and gardener who after a trip to Japan, was inspired to create a beautiful Japanese garden in Scotland that has recently been painstakingly restored by Masao Fukuhara.
During the lesson, I'll share some photos of this lovely garden which helps to promote Japanese culture and build on our cultural connections with Japan. We'll also look at Ella Christie's life and travels within Japan in 1907.
This will be a fun and relaxing lesson, I hope you enjoy seeing our peaceful Japanese garden in Scotland (UK)
