Do you need to give presentations in English?

 

Being clear and easy-to-understand is key.

 

The reason many presentations are not successful is not because the speaker doesn’t know about the topic.

 

Instead, it’s because the speaker gives the information in a way which is difficult for the listeners to understand.

For this reason, I created this special business English lesson on giving a presentation.


 

In this lesson you will practice:
- Giving your presentation in a simple, logical structure 
- Making your presentation easy to follow, by using key phrases
- Answering difficult questions from the listeners 




 

DESCRIPTION

This lesson is for anyone who needs to give business presentations in English, either in person or online.




 

LESSON GOALS:
1. Give a clear, professional presentation 
2. Answer listeners’ questions 

 



LESSON PREPARATION:
- Before the lesson, I'll send a PDF with some short exercises to introduce useful phrases, and some exercises to complete
- Please read the information on the PDF and do the exercises



 

DURING THE LESSON:
- In the lesson I’ll check your answers to the exercises
- We’ll do a presentation role-play (info is on the PDF), including Q&A session
- I’ll give you advice and feedback
