[Pronunciation lessons] Improve your communication skills with correct pronunciation!
課程介紹
English pronunciation requires many different sounds that don’t exist in the Japanese language. But don’t worry! With practice, you will make great improvements to help you communicate better.
This lesson will cover the rules to follow and practice activities you can do to improve your pronunciation of words and sentences. The three main points are:
- Basic phonics
E.g. bag vs. bug / clam vs. cram / worm vs. warm / thick vs. sick
- Word Stress
E.g. hotel (not hotel) / event (not event) / advice (not advice) / progress vs. progress
- Sentence/speech flow
E.g. connected speech, stressed words, and natural speech rhythm.
I am a native British English speaker but I also speak Japanese, which gives me a good understanding of the common challenges faced by my Japanese students.
