Conversational English

Description

Lesson level: Adult students in Pre-intermediate and above (advanced ok)

We will practice:

Speaking
: discuss many different topics in two short conversations (with a break in-between). This mostly free talk, but on different interesting topics. We can add structure to the conversation as necessary.

Here are some popular topics: Japan culture and tourism, New Zealand culture and tourism, music, movies/TV shows, sports, jobs, school, nature.

If you have a specific topic that interests you, let me know, and I'll prepare a basic structure for our conversation. There is the option to even discuss a news or blog article that has been read.

During the lesson:

Vocabulary: Each conversation will allow you to learn some new vocabulary either related to the topic or can be used widely when speaking English.

Pronunciation and Grammar: You will receive correction as much as you would like. There will be at least a little bit of correction on pronunciation and grammar during conversations

This is for you if:

You want to speak about many different and interesting topics, and would like to learn to speak English more confidently and naturally. This is a great environment to practice expressing your ideas and opinions and to learn how to ask and answer questions.
