Description

Description of the class:
Me: Good morning, everyone! Today, we're going to have a fun and interactive lesson focusing on improving our English fluency and pronunciation. We'll be using tongue twisters to challenge ourselves and sharpen our language skills.

Me:, writing on the board "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"]

Me: Let's start with this one. Repeat after me, paying close attention to the pronunciation of each word: "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

[The students repeat the tongue twister, some stumbling over the words at first but gradually gaining confidence.]

Me, again: Great job, everyone! Now, let's try it again, but this time, let's see if we can increase our speed without sacrificing clarity: "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

[The students repeat the tongue twister, this time with more speed and determination, improving with each repetition.]

Me, with an encouraging tone: Excellent effort, everyone! Now, let's move on to another tongue twister to further challenge ourselves.

Me, writing another tongue twister on the board: "Betty Botter bought some butter, but she said this butter's bitter. If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter, but a bit of better butter will make my batter better."]

Me, Now, Llt's give this one a try. Remember to focus on clear enunciation and smooth pronunciation.

[The students eagerly tackle the new tongue twister, enjoying the challenge and supporting each other along the way.]

Me:, smiling: Well done, everyone! Tongue twisters are a fun and effective way to improve your English fluency and pronunciation. Keep practicing, and you'll continue to see progress in your language skills.

Me: Write a few more tongue twisters more and have the students repeat them at increasing speeds: 50, 75, 100, 150%

[The class ends with the students feeling accomplished and motivated to continue honing their English proficiency through tongue twisters and other engaging activities.]
