Focusing on All Major Skills such as Speaking, Listening, Reading and Written
Description
Introducing the Valuable General English Lesson. in this lesson we spend approximately 50 minutes on a topic. In this lesson we will be working with materials that focus on the major skills which are Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading. The materials will be based on a specific topic and will be filled with exercises and to give an idea, some of them are:
Reading:
- reading a passgae, story or article
- reading questions for better understanding, in order to answer appropriately
- reading for meaning and understanding
Listening:
- to an audio or video, mostly on Youtube
- you will be listening to get more information on the topic and to further discuss the topic
- you will be listening to quote the speaker on what they said for a later discussion
Speaking:
- you will be answering questions based on the topic
- there will be discussions with questions about the topic
- you will also get to share personal experiences or general knowledge and your opinion/perspective
Written:
- there will be Grammar exercises that will require you to write
- exercises inlcude, prepositions, matching the words, creating phrases, filling in missing words etc. (all will be explained before completion)
- writing answers or lengthy responses to questions
