A Journey Toward Light: Celebrating the end of winter’s darkness.

Description

Makara Sankranti is a major pan-Indian solar festival that marks the Sun's transition into the zodiac sign of Capricorn (Makara). Unlike most Indian festivals that follow the lunar calendar, this one follows the solar cycle, usually falling on January 14th or 15th.
The Seasonal Shift: It signals the end of the winter solstice and the start of longer, warmer days (known as Uttarayan).
