Description

B2–B2+ Upper-Intermediate English Course Outline (100–500 Lessons, 25 Minutes Each)

This course is designed for upper-intermediate learners who want to refine their grammar, expand their vocabulary, and improve fluency for both professional and social communication. We will follow an appropriate textbook as the main guide while incorporating real-world discussions, writing tasks, and listening exercises to build confidence in more complex conversations.

1. Refining Core Grammar & Expanding Communication Skills (Lessons 1–100)

Students will review and strengthen their understanding of key grammar structures, including all tenses, conditionals, passive voice, and reported speech. Lessons will focus on improving accuracy in sentence structure, pronunciation, and fluency in everyday and professional interactions. Speaking activities will include structured discussions, debates, and problem-solving exercises.

2. Strengthening Listening & Reading Comprehension (Lessons 101–200)

Students will work with longer and more complex listening materials such as news reports, interviews, and podcasts. Lessons will focus on understanding implied meaning, speaker tone, and cultural context. Reading activities will include analyzing articles, reports, and opinion pieces, with discussions and written summaries to improve critical thinking.

3. Mastering Formal & Informal Communication (Lessons 201–300)

Lessons will focus on using English effectively in different contexts, from social conversations to workplace communication. Writing tasks will include formal emails, reports, and essays, while speaking practice will involve networking, negotiations, and storytelling. Students will also work on using idiomatic expressions and phrasal verbs naturally.

4. Enhancing Fluency & Professional Communication (Lessons 301–400)

Students will refine their ability to communicate persuasively and confidently in professional and academic settings. Lessons will include structuring well-developed arguments, participating in in-depth discussions, and improving pronunciation and intonation. Cultural differences in communication will also be explored.

5. Achieving Full Language Independence (Lessons 401–500)

The final lessons will focus on real-world fluency, including job interviews, public speaking, and complex writing tasks. Students will practice responding to fast, native-level speech patterns and engaging in spontaneous conversations on a variety of topics. The course will conclude with revision, advanced role-plays, and fluency-focused activities to ensure full confidence in using English.
