Would you like to start learning Arabic, or have you already studied it and want to strengthen your skills?
Whether you’re discovering the Arabic alphabet for the first time or already have a foundation and want to improve your speaking, reading, vocabulary or grammar, this lesson will be adapted to your level and goals.
WHAT KIND OF ARABIC WILL WE LEARN?
The main focus of this lesson is Modern Standard Arabic (MSA / العربية الفصحى).
Modern Standard Arabic is widely used across the Arab world in education, media, books, news and formal communication. It gives you a strong foundation for understanding Arabic across different countries and can also support you if you later decide to learn a regional dialect.
If your goal is specifically to learn the Arabic spoken in Morocco, you can choose my separate Moroccan Arabic (Darija) lesson.
IF YOU’RE A COMPLETE BEGINNER
No previous knowledge is necessary.
We can start step by step with:
• The Arabic alphabet and writing system
• Reading and writing from right to left
• Arabic sounds and pronunciation
• Greetings and introductions
• Essential vocabulary
• Building your first sentences
• Asking and answering simple questions
• Basic grammar in context
The Arabic script may look unfamiliar at first, but we’ll take it gradually. You don’t need to memorize everything at once.
IF YOU ALREADY KNOW SOME ARABIC
We’ll start from what you already know rather than going back to the beginning.
Depending on your goals, we can work on:
• Speaking and expressing yourself more confidently
• Expanding your vocabulary
• Improving pronunciation
• Reading and understanding Arabic texts
• Listening comprehension
• Grammar and sentence structure
• Correcting recurring mistakes
• Becoming more comfortable forming your own sentences
LESSONS BUILT AROUND YOUR GOALS
People learn Arabic for many different reasons: travel, study, work, family, culture, personal interest, or simply the challenge of discovering a very different language.
Tell me what brings you to Arabic, and we’ll focus on the skills that are most useful for you.
My approach is patient and practical. I’ll explain things clearly, give you time to think and speak, and adjust the pace according to your level.
Mistakes are part of learning, especially in a language with new sounds and a different writing system. You don’t need to worry about getting everything right immediately.
ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Arabic is my native language, and I grew up in Morocco in a multilingual environment. I also speak French and English, as well as Spanish and Turkish, so I understand the experience of learning and communicating in different languages.
I can use English when an explanation is necessary, while gradually encouraging you to use more Arabic as your level develops.
Whether this is your very first Arabic lesson or you’re looking for a place to continue practicing and improving, you’re very welcome.
