課程介紹
There's a gap between "good English" and "commanding English." This lesson closes it.
I work with professionals who already function in English but know they're not landing the way they would in Japanese. The ideas are there. The authority isn't yet.
What we build
Presentations — Opening lines that hold a room. Structure that survives a nervous moment. Handling the question you didn't prepare for. We rehearse until it's boring, which is exactly when it becomes reliable.
Meetings — Disagreeing without damage. Interrupting politely but effectively. The specific phrases that make you sound senior rather than hesitant.
Résumés and interviews — I rewrite your résumé with you for an international audience, then run mock interviews and give you unfiltered feedback. Including the parts that are uncomfortable to hear.
Career strategy — If you're aiming at an overseas role, a global team, or a transfer, we talk about how to position yourself.
Who this is for
Intermediate and above. Managers, engineers, consultants, founders, and anyone preparing for a specific high-stakes moment — a conference talk, a board update, an interview next month.
How I work
Bring the real thing. Your actual slide deck, your actual résumé, the actual meeting on Thursday. I'd rather fix the presentation you're giving next week than practise a hypothetical one.
About me
Cambridge CELTA, Business English specialization from the University of Washington, Bachelor's in Literary Studies from Utrecht University, Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Educated in the US for nearly a decade, and I've lived and worked across the US, the UK, the Netherlands and Brazil.
