We spend a huge part of our day reporting what other people said—whether it's news from a meeting, a story from a friend, or a quote from a book. This 25-minute "Grammar Sprint" introduces the "Backshift Staircase," the secret to mastering Reported Speech without getting confused by the grammar.

What We Will Focus On In this session, we will:

  • The Backshift Staircase: Master the logic of taking "one step back" into the past when reporting words (e.g., am → was, will → would).

  • The Relay Challenge: Practice reporting news from a "meeting," a documentary recap, or even an update about Professor Blake.

Original Learning Materials You will receive my "Reporting Roadmap". It features the "Staircase" visual to help you instantly identify which tense you need to shift to.

The Goal By the end of this sprint, you’ll be able to relay information accurately and confidently. You’ll master the "Grammar of Gossip," making you a more effective communicator in every social and professional circle.
