  • Target Audience: Travelers wishing to move freely within Taiwan, especially using public transport.
  • Key Learning Points:
    • MRT & Buses:
      • Learn route checking, fares, single-journey ticket purchase, and EasyCard/iPASS usage.
      • Understand in-vehicle announcements and instructions.
      • Practical questions: "Does this MRT go to Taipei 101?", "I want to go to Tamsui, where do I transfer?", "Does this bus go to the night market?".
      • Understand boarding/alighting etiquette and precautions.
    • Taiwan Railways (TRA) & High-Speed Rail (HSR):
      • Learn ticket purchasing procedures at counters/vending machines.
      • Inquire about schedules, car numbers, and seat information.
      • Identify platforms and train directions.
      • Common dialogues: "Are there still tickets to Taichung?", "What time does this HSR depart?", "What's my seat number?".
    • Taxis: Learn how to hail a cab, state your destination, confirm fare, and payment methods.
    • Situational Practice: Use images or illustrations to simulate actual transportation scenarios.
