中学校の理科のレベルから、高校の物理や化学につながる内容を、合理的な順序で学んでいきます。内容的には高校の物理基礎・化学基礎のレベルまでをカバーします。

とくに原子の周期性の起源や化学結合のミクロな仕組み、および運動の法則や温度・熱などの物理的な基本を正しく理解することが目的です。記憶するだけの学習にならないように、練習問題を豊富に取り入れます。
