This lesson is Part 1 of the series "Let’s Read Books in Japanese! Discover Yourself Through Books."
By continuing with this series, you will gradually become able to read simple books in Japanese and start writing your own journal in Japanese.

Please tell me about your favorite book or poem, or a picture book you loved as a child.
If you don’t have the book with you, just let me know the title.
In the first lesson, we’ll focus on self-introductions and sharing about your favorite books.

In Part 2, we’ll use the books, poems, proverbs, or childhood picture books you mentioned in Part 1 for discussion.
After the discussion, we’ll write journal entries about what you noticed or felt.
As you get more comfortable, we’ll choose Japanese books and materials that match your interests and level, and use them in the lessons.

※This lesson is designed for learners who have intermediate to advanced Japanese proficiency and are able to communicate in Japanese.
