Egypt is not the Pyramids - Culture

If your idea of Egypt is limited to the Pyramids, camels, and the desert, then this lesson is for you. We'll explore the country and what daily life is like for its people.

Description

Many students I’ve spoken to from other countries often have a limited view of Egypt, typically associating it only with the Pyramids. They picture the country as a vast desert, with camels and horses seen on the street for transportation.

While this image is far from reality, it’s understandable, given that most people’s knowledge of Egypt is shaped by old photographs showcasing the Pyramids surrounded by desert sands and camels.

In this lesson, however, I’ll show you Egypt from the perspective of someone who lives here. We’ll explore the country’s diverse cities and uncover both well-known and lesser-known tourist destinations.

You’ll come across information that may be new to you, and you’ll experience Egypt through media, allowing for a more immersive experience.
