If your idea of Egypt is limited to the Pyramids, camels, and the desert, then this lesson is for you. We'll explore the country and what daily life is like for its people.
課程介紹
Many students I’ve spoken to from other countries often have a limited view of Egypt, typically associating it only with the Pyramids. They picture the country as a vast desert, with camels and horses seen on the street for transportation.
While this image is far from reality, it’s understandable, given that most people’s knowledge of Egypt is shaped by old photographs showcasing the Pyramids surrounded by desert sands and camels.
In these lessons, however, I’ll show you Egypt from the perspective of someone who lives here.
In each lesson we will either:
- explore the different cultures and lifestyles in Egypt, family dynamics, entertainment, modern societal trends and more;
- discover Egypt’s diverse geography, from the Nile Delta to the Sahara Desert, including its top destinations and some hidden gems;
- dive into the customs, food, and spiritual essence of Ramadan, as well as other significant celebrations in Egypt;
- or learn about iconic Egyptian dishes and their cultural significance. You’ll also get tips and recipes for cooking these at home.
You’ll come across information that may be new to you, and you’ll experience Egypt through different forms of media, allowing for a more immersive experience.
