Do you want to improve your reading, vocabulary, and conversation skills in a fun and personalized way? In this lesson, we will read an article together and discuss it. You can choose the topic yourself, or I can select an article that matches your interests and prepare questions to guide our discussion. Here’s how we can handle the material:

  • Option A: I Choose for You. Tell me a subject you love (e.g., Space Travel, 19th-century History, Modern Tech, or Cooking), and I will find a high-quality article and prepare custom questions for us.

  • Option B: You Choose. Found an interesting article online? Send it to me at least 24 hours before our lesson, and I’ll build a full lesson plan around it.It sounds like you’re designing a really engaging, student-centered lesson! Giving students the agency to choose their own reading material is a fantastic way to boost motivation—it’s much easier to learn vocabulary when you actually care about the topic.

    Here is a structured draft you can use to present this lesson to your students. I've organized the details to make it look professional and clear.

    • What We Will Do :

      1. Guided Reading: We’ll read through the text together, focusing on natural flow and pronunciation.

      2. Vocabulary Deep-Dive: We’ll extract "power words" and phrases from the text to add to your personal lexicon.

      3. Interactive Q&A: I will prepare comprehension and "big picture" questions to test your understanding.

      4. Open Debate/Discussion: We’ll spend the final part of the lesson sharing opinions on the subject.

    • Note: To ensure I can prepare the best possible questions and vocabulary exercises, please let me know your chosen topic or send your link at least one day in advance!
