In this 30-minute lesson, you will practice your English by reading spooky poems about witches and ghosts! (Scary level= 1)

We will read Shakeaspeare's Song of the Witches: “Double, double toil and trouble” (from Macbeth), a fragment from Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven, and time-permitting, a fragment of Haunted Houses by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The class is designed foll upper-beginners and up, and the idea is to have fun and practice your English!

Using a PowerPoint presentation, we will read and discuss these fun and thought-provoking short poems.
Using images, we will discuss their content and meaning.
You will have plenty of opportunities to talk and engage with the poems.
