- Introduction to Latin: Origins and spread of the language, the importance of Latin in the modern world.
- Declensions: Understanding the structure of nouns, adjectives, and pronouns.

- Syntax: Sentence construction in Latin, the role of prepositions and adverbs.
- Translation: Translating simple Latin sentences, with an in-depth look at classical texts.
