In this lesson, we will explore the main differences between Ukrainian and English. We will discuss how people are addressed and how communication differs in Ukrainian compared to English. We will look at comma usage and how often commas appear in Ukrainian sentences compared to English. We will also touch on articles, talk about the transcription of Ukrainian sounds that are less common in English, and see how words can be changed in direct and figurative meanings through simple endings or prefixes.

На цьому уроці ми вивчатимемо основні відмінності між українською та англійською мовами. Обговоримо звертання та чим спілкування з людьми в українській відрізняється від англійської. Подивимося, як використовується кома, і наскільки часто вона зустрічається в українських реченнях у порівнянні з англійськими. Також торкнемося застосування артиклів, поговоримо про транскрипцію українських звуків, які менш властиві англійській, та розглянемо, як в українській мові можна змінювати слова в прямому та переносному значенні простими способами, наприклад, через зміну кінцівки або додавання префікса.
