This lesson is purely for the improvement / new learning of the vocal techniques,

so highly-motivated, honest learners only! Recommended for upper to professional level students but always welcome for those who;

Keen to obtain singing techniques
At least able to pick melodies by listening to songs
Able to practice EVERY DAY even if it’s 10mins (It is ESSENTIAL for you to get better slightly and see the difference with repetitive practicing)
Highly motivated to improve the level of singing skills, open to honest feedback, and able to apply it positively and move forward

(Please note this is just an example—actual content may vary depending on each student’s lesson count and progress.)

★ 2nd Lesson

In the second lesson, we’ll break down the song chosen in the first session into individual sections and phrases, and start working on specific techniques with feedback included. Depending on the student, some phrases or techniques may need to be adjusted to a different key, so we’ll also work on key adjustments as needed, based on the level check from the first lesson or progress during this one.

★ 3rd Lesson and Beyond

We’ll generally continue building on what we covered in the second lesson. Sometimes we might introduce new songs or rearrange vocal techniques to focus on different skills. For example, mastering melisma (including its variations) can take years, so we’ll take it step by step and build steadily over time.

<What you’ll need & things to keep in mind before the lesson>

•I don’t use sheet music in either the trial or regular lessons

— The focus is on training your ear and building technique. At the end of each lesson,

I’ll let you know which part of the song we’ll work on next, and I’ll share the lyrics and audio for the next lesson at that time.

•Since I’ll sometimes give you feedback on things like pronunciation or melisma by observing your mouth and throat movements, it’s not allowed to turn the camera off for any of my vocal lessons.

•Filming the lesson isn’t allowed. Recording is allowed but for practice purposes only, and any other use is strictly prohibited. Please take notes during the lesson, especially about any assignments or things to review for next time.

<For the day before the lesson＞　
・Please prepare a metronome before the lesson. If you don’t have it at home, install the metronome application (preferably a device does not use for the online lesson). Refer my tool below as a sample.

・Please avoid drinking alcohol or doing anything that might strain your throat the day before the lesson. Let’s keep your voice in the best condition possible!

・Stay hydrated! It is very important not to be dried up your throat. So please bring non-alcohol drink (water, herbal tea etc..) at the lesson. I also drink my herbal tea during the lesson.
