Lesson Overview

This lesson is designed for school‑aged children who are ready to move beyond beginner activities and learn English in a more structured, meaningful, and age‑appropriate way.

At this level, children no longer rely on TPR or play‑only lessons. Instead, we explore English through real topics, short readings, guided speaking practice, vocabulary building, and simple grammar that helps them communicate clearly and confidently. Lessons are still enjoyable and interactive, but also calm, focused, and respectful — treating your child like a capable young learner.

To support steady progress, I use CEFR A2–B1 as a guide while adapting each lesson to your child’s age, interests, and learning pace. Children learn to express ideas, understand short texts, build vocabulary, and communicate with growing independence.

 

This lesson is ideal if your child:

  • has outgrown beginner / TPR‑based lessons

  • is ready for more structured English learning

  • enjoys stories, topics, and real conversation

  • wants to improve speaking, reading, listening, and writing

  • benefits from a calm, supportive teacher who explains things clearly

The goal is to help your child develop real English skills — not just memorised phrases — and feel confident communicating in a natural, age‑appropriate way.

 

What We Do in Class


Lessons may include:

  • Short readings and topic‑based discussions

  • Vocabulary building through real‑world themes

  • Light grammar explained simply and clearly

  • Speaking practice with guided questions

  • Listening activities using short videos or audio clips

  • Pronunciation practice to build clear, natural speech

  • Simple writing tasks (sentences, descriptions, opinions)

  • Creative tasks such as choices, comparisons, and expressing ideas

Activities are always adapted to your child’s age, interests, and level. Whenever possible, your child can choose topics to keep motivation high.

 

Progress & Development

As your child grows more confident, lessons gradually increase in complexity, preparing them for:

  • higher‑level English

  • school English classes

  • international communication

  • future conversation‑focused lessons

After each lesson, I provide a short summary of what we learned and how your child is progressing, so you always know their next steps.

Your child will build the skills needed to understand, express ideas, and participate in English with confidence.
