In this four-lesson series, you will learn terms, furnishings, negotiating, and reporting issues when renting a house or apartment.
In Lesson 1, Terms, we will warm up with conversation, progress into relevant vocabulary, have vocabulary reinforcing discussion, a vocabulary exercise, dialogue, and we will end with role play.
In Lesson 2, Furnishings, we will cover the items included in a house or apartment through conversation, vocabulary exercises, dialogue, and role play.
In Lesson 3, Negotiating, we will learn terms related to negotiating for a rented house, read a short article, discuss the article, have vocabulary exercises, then end with dialogue and role play—all designed to give you more confidence when negotiating.
In Lesson 4, Reporting Issues, we will address language we can use to report common concerns renting a house/apartment such as plumbing, landlord responsibilities, tenant responsibilities, and more. We will read an short article together, then discuss the topic.
We will have vocabulary exercises, dialogue, role play, and wrap up with conversation around the topic. This lesson is great for high beginners, intermediate, or advanced levels.
