TARGET USER: FOR AGE UNDER (5), BEGINNERS (6-12)
TOPIC: Basic greeting and introduction in English (Hello, Hi, Goodbye, What's your name?)
SKILLS COVERED: Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, Social Interaction.
METHODOLOGIES: TPR- use of gestures with each phrase (wave for 'Hello', handshake for 'Nice to meet you'). Repitition and drilling. Visual Aids. Games.
HOW TO TEACH:
Warm -up: 5 minutes
Play a 'Hello song'.
Presentation:10 minutes
Introduce 'Hello', my name is_____.
Practice: 10 minutes
Use puppets or pictures for sample dialogues. Let's greet each other (practice)
Wrap- up: 5 minutes
Review key words. Sing a short goodbye song.
Useful notes- Keep language very simple. Use real gestures, visuals, and smile to help them understand before explaining in their first language.
