Irregular verbs, a verb is termed as irregular if you can't change it to its past tense form by adding ed.

Description

English verbs that do not conform to the standard pattern of adding "-ed" to create the past tense and past participle are known as irregular verbs. Instead, they either don't alter at all or experience spelling changes. Typical examples are as follows:

be                            was/were                        been begin                        began                             begun break                        broke                              broken bring                        brought                           brought buy                          bought                             bought choose                     chose                               chosen
Since irregular verbs don't follow recognizable patterns, they should be in your memory. Would you like further examples or practice using irregular verbs?
