I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. Teacher Oyu always provides engaging and enjoyable lessons. We have a lot of fun talking about our daily lives while learning Japanese in a relaxed and pressure-free atmosphere. I have been studying with her for almost two years, and thanks to her guidance, I was able to pass the JLPT N3—something I never thought I could achieve. 日本語がとてもお上手なので、わからないところは日本語で説明していただけます。短い時間でも内容が詰まっているので、楽しくレッスンを受けています。予習が足りないとレッスン中に躓いてしまうので、やはり予習復習は大切だと思います。レッスンに入る前の雑談もすごく楽しくて、先生の優しい人柄が感じられます！
