I'm learning lots of native phrases through this lesson. I actually came across them in many situations(TV dramas, Instagram posts, daily conversations or even she uses them without realising! ). It's a fun surprise for me! As she said, making sentences relevant to my own story really helps them stick in my mind. I'm sure if I can naturally use them in my speaking, my English would sound much more natural. Her lessons and feedback are always awesome! Thank you for always supporting me!

Iwa Sensei provides fantastic lessons with exceptional lesson material and lesson plans. Amazing tutor, very well suited to intermediate conversation, can explain well in both Japanese and English, she studies languages herself so she understands the hard parts of it, and she's very relaxed making her a perfect partner for any topic. Highly recommended.

My first lesson with Yumi Sensei was great. She took the time to listen to my background and future goals with Japanese and catered to what I want to learn. She is a skilled teacher and has excellent English which was a great support when I was not sure how to explain what I wanted to say in Japanese.
