Tomoko-sensei is a wonderful teacher! Her lessons are thorough, helpful, and contain useful information for future study. She provides recording and pronunciation files, and even intonation guides so you can practice on your own after the class. My Japanese has improved thanks to Tomoko-sensei. Every class I take with Tomoko-sensei helps me improve in an instantly noticeable way, and she is also a fun and interesting conversation partner. 15分のレッスンは毎回あっという間ですが、その中でも必ず新しい学びがあります。共有してもらえるGoogle Docのおかげで復習もしやすく、ニュアンスの違いも分かりやすく教えてもらえます。うまく説明できない時は日本語で「こういう感じ」と説明しても意図を理解してもらえるので安心感もあり、毎回カジュアルな会話をしながらとても楽しく学べています。

Mineco-sensei and I have been reading 吾輩は猫である which is a book I have been very interested in for years now, but could never really understand by myself. Mineco-sensei always prepares thoroughly for each lesson. She makes slides with the words, phrases and grammar for each passage. She also researches the cultural background whenever there's a difficult part or idiom in the text, as well as prepares some sentences for me to read outloud as a practice. We always have a chat about the passage and every single lesson is a lot of fun. I really appreciate all of the work Mineco-sensei puts into lesson prep.

いつも大変丁寧な添削をしてくださいます。毎月受講していますが、課題のお手本がその時々の季節にあった文章なので、練習していても日本らしい季節感を味わいながら心地よくペンが進みます。添削のコメントは、いつもたくさん褒めてくださるので、また頑張ろう！という気持ちになります。継続は力なり、コツコツ継続して頑張る気持ちを支えてくださっています。
