Mika-sensei's 25-minute beginner Japanese lesson is just the right length to avoid feeling overwhelmed but also to make solid progress. I've been taking this lesson weekly for the past few months and have noticed a huge improvement in my Japanese speaking skill and confidence. The lesson pack offers excellent value for those who are serious learners. I'm always impressed by Mika-sensei's warmth and her gentle, friendly manner, which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She patiently waits for me to answer whenever I am stuck, which I appreciate so much! On top of all this, she uses excellent materials that allow me to practice new grammar points thoroughly, and to work at a steady pace. She also has a great ear, always bringing my attention to mistakes not only in my grammar but also my pronunciation - which is hugely important for an English learner of Japanese like me. 予習はせずに気軽に臨みました。レッスンでは私が音読して和訳や要約をします。その後先生が音読してくださり、文法や解釈について説明をされます。読解や解釈はレッスンを受けなくてもできますが、先生の解釈を伺うことで、より理解が深まり英語のブラッシュアップにも役立ちます。ハリーポッターがより好きになってきました。
