Thank you for your continued support. I encountered this teacher when I couldn't connect with the instructor I had booked and happened to be looking for someone available for an immediate lesson. Teacher Chris is very kind, adapts to my pace, and is easy to talk to. Having completed a master's degree in English literature in her home country, I feel confident taking lessons with her for that reason as well.

Hiromi is a skillful, helpful teacher who works patiently to improve my Japanese and give me more confidence. Her lessons can be structured or free talk depending on my need each time. 先生のレッスンは、とにかくテンポがよく、普段の何気ない会話から苦手な所や興味のあることを引き出して、レッスンに付けくわえてくれます。例えば、声を出して読むのが、苦手そうなら、もう一度音声を聞かせてくれて、文字を見て、納得してもう一度チャレンジするなど、その時に合わせて方法を切り替えてくれます。いつも同じレッスンではなく、その人に合わせる、興味を持続させる、楽しく勉強しよう～！ができる先生です。今は、ハングル文字をキーボード入力できるように練習をして、宿題を提出しています。そして、毎回、先生に会えるのが楽しみです。

Eri Sensei is very patient and allows me time to speak my thoughts. She corrects me when needed and takes very thorough notes on areas to improve that I can reference later. We do various types of lessons and they are all very helpful!
