Nobue Sensei is an amazing teacher. Not only does she prepare great content for the lesson but she provides highly detailed and engaging explanations. After every lesson I always think not only have I learnt more Japanese but I also have a deeper understanding of Japan and it's culture. As well as this, she can support in English when needed. Macchan-sensei’s lessons are always incredibly cheerful and energetic; her positive energy is truly contagious and motivates me throughout the session. Mineco-sensei and I have been reading 吾輩は猫である which is a book I have been very interested in for years now, but could never really understand by myself. Mineco-sensei always prepares thoroughly for each lesson. She makes slides with the words, phrases and grammar for each passage. She also researches the cultural background whenever there's a difficult part or idiom in the text, as well as prepares some sentences for me to read outloud as a practice. We always have a chat about the passage and every single lesson is a lot of fun. I really appreciate all of the work Mineco-sensei puts into lesson prep.
