Description

There are many different sounds in English, making it a challenging language to learn. Pronunciation can be very difficult for new students. 

Using many different methods and activities, we will practice proper pronunciation. We will focus on a certain sound or letter that is difficult for you to pronounce. Some common difficulties are:
  • Vowels (A, E, I , O, U)
  • L & R
  • V & B
  • B & P
  • T & D
  • -TH
  • SH-
I will show you the shape of my mouth as well as how to move your own mouth and tongue to make the correct sounds. We will also practice by listening and repeating. If we practice these sounds many times, the muscles in our face will get used it and over time it will be easier to pronounce difficult English words!

I will also give you tips and advice on how to practice on your own time and throughout your daily routine.
