An introduction to culinary Europe!

Do you love to cook? Are you interested in the styles and recipes cooked in Europe?

If so, you´ve come to the right place! As an avid cook of many years, I´ve enjoyed (and occasionally suffered!) the diverse culinary styles of many countries across Europe. From deliciously butter-rich French onion soup, confit de canard (my personal favourite) and unusual but somehow extremely tasty steak tartare  of French kitchens to the more robust pannenkoeken met spek  and Dutch apple pie and remarkable rauwe haring met uitjes from the Netherlands, the sumptuous paella and mouth-watering carilladas from Spain to the ubiquitous pastas and pizzas from Italy, you can find exceedingly tasty treats wherever you go in Europe.

And then of course there are the drinks! Deliciously fruity Dutch boerenjongens and boerenmeisjes, zingy Italian  limoncello and (in my humble opinion!), the best and smoothest affordable brandy de Jerez, Spain.

 

In my European Cooking classes I would like to take you on an unforgettable journey through culinary Europe, and hopefully introduce you to new tastes and smells, which may well start you off on a new hobby: savouring European -style cooking for yourself!
