Description

Dear English Learners,

This class gives you the opportunity to improve your English communication skills.
Are you planning to travel? Are you taking an exam? Do you just enjoy studying English or want to chat with foreigners?
This is the right class for you.

Depending on what you would like, we can
- have a free conversation,
- read a paper / article and discuss it,
- work on your pronunciation (difficult minimal sound pairs, word and sentence stress, cadence, etc.),
- improve your fluency and pragmatic skills,
- work on grammar that's useful at your level,
- master everyday expressions that natives use,
- and many other kinds of tasks and activities.

In the lesson I will first ask you a number of questions and do with you 2-3 simple tasks. This helps me to measure your English level.
Following this, I will use free internet teaching materials and set tasks for you. I will do this in a structured way. This will help to build up your competence in areas that need improvement.

I lived and worked in England for five years, and I've been working with Japanese, Korean, Chinese and other international students for a long time.

Learners at any stage are welcome. I'm happy to work with children and beginners too, and also with intermediate and advanced speakers.
