Are you interested in the world of wine but intimidated by the big vocabulary?
Come join me as we take a journey through the vineyards and talk about what you taste, feel and see.
I am an Agricultural Economics graduate who studied Viticulture (the study of wine) as part of my degree in a small town, known for its wine produce, Stellenbosch in South Africa. Wine has become a very big part of who I am thus I am very excited to have this conversation with you.
My lessons are customised to the specific needs of student, but here are possible topics of dicussion;
- Cultivars (possibly look at the different regions)
- Discussing the basic and commonly know science in wine
* Terroir
* Tannins, Sugar, Acid...etc.
- How to conduct yourself at a wine tasting
* Basic wine terminology
* Most popular wine varietals
* Wine and food pairing guide
