We will use pictures or images showing different scenes. The goal is to get the student speaking by describing what they see in the images.

Description

Picture description is a fun and effective way to practice speaking in English. There are different colorful scenes showing people, animals and objects which the student must describe.



The images are categorized into 3 levels: beginner, intermediate and advance. The lesson will be divided into 3 to 4 parts as the class time permits.
1. Say the names of things in the picture/image. 
2. Use action words or verbs to describe people's actions.
Use adjectives to describe the people, things and animals in the pictures.
3. Question and answer about the pictures (for intermmediate and advance).
4. Oral sentence making - A list of words will be given to the student and the task is to make sentences wih them. Examples will be provide.
