The Monkey's Paw is one of the most famous supernatural short stories ever written. First published in 1902 by the English author W. W. 『猿の手（The Monkey's Paw）』 は、これまでに書かれた超自然をテーマにした短編小説の中でも、最も有名な作品の一つです。1902年にイギリスの作家 W・W・ジェイコブズ によって発表されて以来、「もし、どんな願いでも叶えられるとしたら、あなたはどうするだろう？」という、誰もが一度は考えたことのある問いを描いていることから、100年以上にわたり世界中の読者を魅了し続けています。
