Lesson Pack Details

- This is a lesson pack of 4 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 4 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 3 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 35 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

In this 4-part pack of lessons, you will learn to use the Phonemic Chart to practice pronunciation with the tutor as model, combined with graphic aids. The Lessons contents will also be available to you in PDF format. 
The Phonemic Chart is an internationally recognized set of symbols that represent all the 44 sounds in spoken English. As the English Alphabet is fundamental to reading, so the Phonemic Chart is useful for speaking and listening. The spelling of a word in English doesn’t always tell us how it is going to sound.  For this reason, many dictionaries have phonemic transcriptions of words next to them.
The Phonemic Chart is especially useful for practicing pronunciation because it enables you to imagine the individual sounds you may find difficult in English and practice those sounds accurately. These lessons are best suited to students of intermediate level to advanced level.

Here is a brief outline of the lessons:
1. Introduction to the Phonemic Chart and key terms and expressions in English pronunciation.
2. English Vowels - Pronunciation Practice with the Phonemic Chart.
3. English Diphthongs and Consonants Part1 with the Phonemic Chart.
4. English Consonants Part 2 with the Phonemic Chart.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
