Nice to meet you! I’m teacher Emily!
I’ve been working as a full-time Japanese language teacher at a Japanese language school in Tokyo for 10 years.
Over the years, I’ve taught Japanese to students from various countries and regions.
In my lessons, I prioritize ensuring that “80% of class time is spent with students speaking in a relaxed and enjoyable manner.”
 
Even if you’re studying Japanese,
  • You might feel like you don’t have many opportunities to speak,
  • You want to be able to speak naturally with Japanese people,
  • You’re studying grammar but lack confidence in conversation, or
  • You feel like the teacher is doing all the talking.
I think many of you can relate to these feelings.
 
If you worry too much about making mistakes, you’ll find it hard to speak at all.
I believe that the most important thing when learning Japanese isn’t to “speak perfectly,” but to “try to get your point across.”
In my lessons, I strive to create a comfortable learning atmosphere where each student can speak with confidence, tailored to their individual level and goals.
Let’s gradually discover the joy of speaking Japanese by using the words and expressions you already know!
