I worked on books 1 to 3 of Futabasha Publishers' "Zetsubō no tama".

Regarding design technique for analogue manga drawing techniques
I drew digitally but in the analogue style as well so I can help you with both ways!
For the analogue method, the student should use a web camera and direct it at the work in progress.
In this way be can both see it and I can offer advice or teach technique.
I have both a manga course and an illustrating course and look forward to hearing from you!
