I am a Japanese language teacher who loves music and nature.
With over 30 years of experience at a major Kansai-based cram school (for elementary and junior high school students), I have helped many students gain admission to prestigious and highly selective schools. I have also worked with students who say, “I’m doing okay in other subjects, but I just can’t seem to improve in my Japanese classes.”
Because Japanese language studies are more prone to subjective interpretation than other subjects, the approach to learning is completely different. I believe that understanding this difference is the starting point for studying Japanese.you
Regardless of your age or background, I will provide careful, personalized support so that each and every student can engage with the language at their own pace and gain a deeper understanding of the world.
Please note that to avoid conflicts of interest, I am unable to offer lessons to students residing in Osaka, Hyogo, Nara, Kyoto, or Shiga. I appreciate your understanding.
Please note that I believe online lessons are best conducted in a face-to-face setting where the student and tutor can see each other’s faces. Of course, if you have special circumstances, I would be happy to discuss them with you.
Please also note that summer, winter, and spring breaks are peak periods for my tutoring center, so I may not be able to accommodate requests for days and times listed as available in my regular lesson schedule. I may be able to accommodate requests for days and times not listed as available as well. I would appreciate your understanding regarding requests made during these periods.
