Hello! I’m Shelly, from Jamaica. I am a TEFL (Pass A Grade) certified and experienced English teacher.  I lived and worked in Japan for four years. Students tell me I’m a good listener, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic.  I enjoy learning about different cultures and meeting new people. I also like to read books and listen to music.


Teaching Experience

My teaching experience includes:

  • Teaching English online and offline to university students and working professionals around the world
  • Teaching ESL, Business English, and Eiken test prep  
  • Working as an English Teacher in Hokkaido, teaching young learners in kindergartens, junior high school students, high school students and adult learners at assigned community centers

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 6hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 6-12hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
