Hello everyone!!
My name is Jiyu.
Since junior high school, I’ve loved Japanese dramas and music.
I spent around 7 years in Japan on a working holiday,
attending a language school and a national university as an international student.
During my university days, I worked part-time teaching Korean to people interested in South Korea.
Being able to talk about each other’s languages and cultures was so enjoyable that it remains one of my most precious memories.
I’ve returned to South Korea and now live in my hometown.
I’m currently living in Jeollanam-do (South Jeolla Province),
which is a region famous for its delicious food in South Korea.
While it’s not as well-known to Japanese people compared to Seoul or Busan,
I’d love for more people from Japan to discover this place.
My hobbies are baking bread and going on walks.
The photo below are salted bread rolls that I made.
Freshly baked bread is the best!!^^
The photo below is from when I visited a local temple.
When I first came to Japan, I remember feeling frustrated when I couldn’t
understand spoken Japanese, or when people didn’t understand my Japanese.
However, I don’t think anyone can speak perfectly from the start.
Learning a language begins with trying to use it in daily life, even if it were just a little.
If you’d like to casually practice speaking Korean or are interested in studying it, please consider booking my lessons!
