Hello, I'm a language enthusiast hailing from Malaysia, fluent in both English and Mandarin, with a knack for conversational Malay as well. My passion for languages extends to my ongoing journey in French, Korean, Japanese, German, and Spanish, though I confess, I'm still in the practice stage for these exciting languages.
 
When I'm not diving into the world of languages, you'll find me indulging in my hobbies, which include savouring delicious cuisine, whipping up delectable baked treats, immersing myself in books, gaming adventures, and tickling the ivories on the piano. And speaking of favourites, my top fruit pick is a juicy, yellow one – care to take a guess?
 
My educational background includes a degree in Psychology, and I've been dedicated to the field of education since 2016. I spent six rewarding years as a preschool Montessori teacher and have also shared my passion for music and mathematics as a part-time Piano and Vedic Maths instructor. The onset of the Covid-19 pandemic prompted me to delve into online piano instruction, a journey I embarked on in 2022. As the world adapted to remote learning, so did I, and I aspire to transition into full-time remote teaching in the near future.
 
In my teaching approach, I pride myself on adaptability and versatility, tailoring my methods to suit the unique needs of each student. I firmly believe that learning is most effective when it's enjoyable and when we're unafraid to make mistakes along the way. Consequently, I integrate engaging games into my lessons to ensure that both students and I relish the learning process.
