Hi! My name is Marites, but everyone calls me Tess. I'm from the Philippines.

I love talking to people and helping them get better at English. I offer many kinds of English conversation lessons, so you can pick whatever fits you best chatting about your daily life and routines, sharing your story and what matters to you, having someone to just listen if you need to talk, or simply having a fun friendly chat to build your confidence. I also have a trivia lesson if you want to test your English while having fun.

I teach kids too, and I have several lesson options for them  story time, show and tell, first English lessons for beginners ages 5 to 7, and longer play-time sessions where kids can enjoy learning English through games and activities. I'm also a mom of 3, so I know how to keep kids engaged, patient, and comfortable while they learn.

If you're traveling to the Philippines, I also teach Tagalog for beginners  real phrases you can actually use for food, shopping, transportation, and making friends.

And if you're interested in something different, I teach organic soap making too. I run my own small soap business, and I can show you step by step how to make your own organic cold-process soap  even how to turn it into a small business of your own.

I have a degree in Economics and I'm TEFL certified, so you're learning with someone who's trained and serious about teaching. But more than that, I care about making every lesson comfortable, warm, and enjoyable. Whether you're a total beginner or already speak some English, I'll meet you where you are and help you grow.
