Jo from England 講師的自我介紹
Hello! My name is Jo, I'm an English teacher living in England.
My ExperienceI have been teaching English for almost15 years. I lived in Japan and taught English there for about 6 years.
Since then I've taught English online to many students around the world.
I have a CELTA qualification (University of Cambridge ESOL Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
I also have a BSc Honours Degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Plymouth.
My Teaching StyleMy students tell me that I'm a good listener and that I help then speak with confidence while providing detailed and useful corrections and feedback. I will always focus on giving you exactly the style of lesson you want, and finding topics you will enjoy!
I find languages endlessly fascinating and helping students build confidence and express themselves is always a pleasure.
I know that learning English can be tedious, frustrating and confusing. It can also be interesting and fun. I'd like to help you find your best study methods and really enjoy English.
About MeI live in a village outside of Birmingham, I spend at lot of time playing with my dog, Astrid. She is an unusual Chinese crested/toy poodle mix and, I must admit, rather spoiled!

But isn't she cute?
My other big passion is table top gaming. I play Dungeons and Dragons (5th edition) a few times every week. I have my own game that I have been running as the Dungeon Master for around 5 years.
I'm also interested in retro gaming and programming. My dream is to make my own game some day.
