Gino Gonzalez 讲师的个人介绍
Hello! It's nice to meet you!
はじめまして!
My name is Gino Gonzalez, and I'm so excited to work with you!
I was born and raised in San Francisco, California where I taught English in an international school for Japanese students. I have about ten years of experience teaching basic grammar and conversation to all age groups, business English, and preparation for the EIKEN, TOEIC, and TOEFL exams.
My teaching method involves three steps:
- Build confidence in speaking/reading/writing.
- Teach students how to identify grammar points and define words in ways that make sense to them personally using memory aids.
- Focus on making connections to help students to internalize difficult concepts such as articles, subject-verb agreement, and perfect tenses.
Using these three principles, we can work together to get you speaking fluently!
A little bit about myself: I love cooking, ukulele, singing, and learning languages. My mother tongue is English, but my second language is Japanese. My friends describe me as easygoing and fun to be around. If you choose to take a lesson with me, expect to hear me make jokes (especially 親父ギャグ)and laugh. My students can expect a balance between intellectually challenging exercises and fun, lighthearted, conversation.
When I'm not teaching English, you can usually catch me singing or playing music!
I absolutely love animals! I love dogs~ (Unfortunately, this isn't my dog in the picture)
I also love the ocean! Whenever I can, I try to get a little bit of vitamin sea!
Thanks for reading, and I'll see you online!
