Hello everyone!
My name is Ayumi (あゆみ).
I will support your dreams by helping you learn Japanese!
Once you are able to speak Japanese, you will be able to achieve so much more.
Let’s expand your future and possibilities by learning Japanese!! 

【What do I value in my lessons?】

① Lessons will be conducted according to the level and learning pace of each student.
I will explain in simpler Japanese or speak at a slower speed according to your level.

 

② I will also create a lot of time for you to output.
By repeating “inputing” and “outputting” practices, let’s move on from “understanding” Japanese, to actually “using” Japanese.

 

③ To help you review, I will send you feedback sheets and other materials used during the lesson.
It is also important to study on your own to help improve your Japanese language skills. Please use them for your review.

★ More than 90% of my lessons are offered in Japanese.
If there is something you don’t understand, you can search for it online or use an app.
However, since this is a lesson for practicing, please try to speak in Japanese as much as possible.
Don’t worry about making mistakes!!
Mistakes are a chance to improve your Japanese!


【Self Introduction】
I taught Japanese to international students at a Japanese language school (as a full-time tutor) for three years.
I taught from beginner to advanced level students.
Since 2021, I have been teaching Japanese online.
I have taught various people including Japanese company employees, elementary to high school students living abroad, and homemakers.
I have also worked in Japanese business hotels and companies (as an office worker).
◎ Hobbies & Interests ◎
・Studying English and Korean
・Going to live performances of my favorite artists and watching the recordings (This is my “推し活 (oshi-katsu)“!)
Favorite artists: Arashi, Ikimono-gakari, BTS, etc.

【About my lessons】

① For beginner level learners (N5 to N4 level)

・Review lesson for beginner level grammar using Minna no Nihongo

・Lesson for JLPT (N4) (no video)

② For those who are at the pre-intermediate level (N4 to N3 level)　

・Lesson for JLPT (N3)

(We will use TRY! N3 or Japanese So-matome (Grammar) textbooks.)

 

　If you have any specific requests, we can also study reading and listening comprehension in the lessons. Please consult with me.

　I also offer weekly question-and-explanation lessons without video.

③ For intermediate and advanced level learners (N3 to N2 level)　

・Lessons for JLPT (N2) (without video)

④ For advanced level (N2 or higher) learners　

・Improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in a well-balanced lesson using Youtube news programs


I also offer lessons regardless of your current language level.

・Custom-made lessons (can be discussed before the lesson)
・Kanji lessons using news articles
・Free-talking (15 or 25 minutes)

I am currently living with a young child. If my child suddenly becomes ill, I may not be able to offer the lesson. In this case, I will contact you immediately. We can change the lesson day or time. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

・You can also turn off your camera when taking a lesson. If you want to take a lesson with your camera turned off, please let me know. I will also turn my camera off for the lesson.
